The dates for the “Old series” session are thought to be either 2/9/1903 or 5/26/1903. Some of these may be remakes of earlier pre-matrix 12" recordings. Fagan and Moran created a matrix set they termed "OS," for "Old series." The designation represents a set of masters made at the end of the pre-matrix era. |

A note by Moran in EDVR vol. 2 suggests that this was also issued as 2341, but that catalog number is assigned to a different song with a similar title ("Tell me, dusky maiden"; see B-43), and his note may be in error. |
