Fagan and Moran note: B-504-12 was remade on matrix B-22401-2 by the Orpheus Quartet (Macdonough, Murphy, Werrenrath, Glenn) on Oct. 31, 1918, and this new master was substituted for B-504-12 on cat. #16394. Apparently, labels continued to carry the name "Haydn Quartet" for the balance of its life in the catalogs. |
