Upon audition of three Climax discs from this series, Tim Brooks has discovered that the ensemble on the Climax releases is a different one than that heard on the Columbia releases.
Brooks/Rust notes this master as two of eight in a series of minstrel recordings, which together, comprise a recorded minstrel show.
