Laird: "On the recording sheet 'Guy Lombardo' is handwritten under the artist credit for the first selection [C1956]. As this selection was composed by Charlie Newman & Carmen Lombardo, and the second selection [C1957] was composed by Carmen Lombardo & Gus Kahn, it seems likely that these recordings are in some way connected with the Lombardo orchestra."
Documentation of Brunswick Records derives primarily from Ross Laird's "Brunswick Records: A discography of recordings, 1916-1931" (Greenwood Press, 2001). See the ADP Brunswick Records Resources page for more information.
Master renumbered for Vocalion use as E7352. Vocalion number assigned on May 29, 1928. Laird notes that "the sheet indicates this coupling was intended for the Vocalion 15000 series (although neither selection was ever issued)."
