Laird: "The recording sheet is headed 'Special Recordings.' These [XC3137-XC3139] are remakes of masters C3011, C3012 & C3016. No further details are provided . . . master XC3139 begins with a march medley concluding with 'Dixie,' after which there is a closing announcement saying: 'This radioette, ladies and gentlemen, was sponsored by the Maytag Co. of Newton, Iowa, makers of the famous Maytag cast-aluminum washer.' There is no dialog on this master."
