According to "Recording the 'twenties," by Allan Sutton, Vi 19626 was the first disc issued by Victor that was made from electrical recordings, although BVE-32160-2 and BVE-32170-2 were not the company's earliest published electrical recordings. CVE-31874-3 and CVE-31875-4 were recorded earlier, but the disc on which they appeared, Vi 35753, was released shortly after Vi 19626. |
