The Victor recording of the complete "Art of the fugue" performed by Richard Buhlig and his pupil, Wesley Kuhnle, remained unpublished until the Pearl 0105 CD issue. Information here is from Victor ledgers, which may use a different numbering system than Pearl. The ledgers do not detail master takes; it is not known which takes and matrix numbers are used for the Pearl issue. According to the Classical Notes website, the performance by Buhlig and Kuhnle was the first keyboard arrangement of "Art of the fugue" to be recorded.
