Ledgers: "The shortest vocal every made by Charles Brosch [sic], refer to L. Joy." Disc label: "Comments by Charles Brosen." Brosen's humorous performance comprises two "comments" spoken with a comical accent and tone: A statement of the title at the beginning of the recording and the words, "Hello, would you please pass the mustard," heard midway through the song.
Both takes 1 and 1A are masters; it is probable that issues derive from both.
